Workshop Facilitator (Remote)

As a Workshop Facilitator at MAJOR, you will play a vital role in supporting small minority-owned businesses and minority-led non-profit organizations. This position involves conducting workshops and webinars on a wide range of topics, providing valuable insights, and fostering an environment of growth and learning for our clients. We are seeking Subject Matter Experts proficient in various business areas to contribute to our clients' success.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate workshops and webinars on topics ranging from starting a business, business development, marketing strategies, financial planning, to leadership and diversity & inclusion.

  • Develop engaging presentations and training materials that resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Collaborate with MAJOR team members to align workshop content with the organization's mission and objectives.

  • Adapt workshop content to suit the needs of various audiences and industries.

  • Provide actionable advice and guidance to participants to help them implement the lessons learned from the workshops into their businesses or organizations.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to deliver relevant and impactful workshops.

  • Proficiency in various languages is a plus, as it allows for broader accessibility to diverse audiences.

  • Utilize your expertise to address client inquiries and troubleshoot challenges during workshops and follow-up interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

  • Proven experience as a workshop facilitator, trainer, or educator in a professional setting.

  • Proficiency in delivering workshops virtually through platforms like Zoom.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.

  • Knowledge of small business challenges and strategies to overcome them.

  • Knowledgeable in various business areas, such as marketing, finance, operations, or leadership.

  • Familiarity with the needs and experiences of minority-owned businesses and non-profit organizations is preferred.

  • Passionate about empowering minority-owned businesses and non-profit organizations.

  • Proficiency in various languages is a plus, but not required.
