Over the past few decades, the number of Black-owned businesses in America has dramatically increased. To continue to help Black entrepreneurs succeed in the business world, many organizations have devoted their resources to helping Black small business owners receive mentoring, advice, and funding.

This month, we’ve compiled our list of the top 10 resources for Black business owners and entrepreneurs.

MAJOR

Founded in 2017, MAJOR is a Miami-based online one-stop shop for minority-owned businesses that provides training, advice, and opportunities. Services provided include support with business formations, 1-on-1 consultations, marketing services, legal services, financial services, and more. MAJOR also helps minority-led non-profit organizations with formation services.

The SBA is one of the largest business support organizations in the United States. It supports the development and growth of minority-owned businesses from underserved communities through counseling, training, certifications, and funding.

National Black Chamber of Commerce

The National Black Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African Americans through entrepreneurship. The NBCC has at least 190 chapters across the United States, as well as chapters in the Bahamas, Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, and Jamaica.
